The Mexican Ministry of Energy is honored to invite you to the Second International Conference on Biofuels, that will be held on the 7th and 8th of October 2009, in the Convention Center Poliforum León, within the agenda of the Global Renewable Energy Forum.

The main goal of this conference is to establish a world, regional and national outlook of biofuels, and to communicate the latest advances on research and development, as well as what is ahead for this industry in the future.

The Second International Conference on Biofuels will consist on three sessions, which will focus on the following topics:

1. Biofuels in Mexico: presenting the view of the energy, agriculture and environmental sectors in Mexico, regarding biofuels, and the challenges and opportunities that this new industry has.

2. Global Overview of Biofuels: presenting the cases of Brazil, Germany, the United States of America and Colombia in the use of biofuels.

3. New Generation of Biofuels: experts from different countries will share their experiences with second and third generation technologies of biofuels.
